You don't have to be a vegan to enjoy this recipe, you only need to love mushrooms, which I am not a fan off. Thanks to Gary Wiseman - Gold tier for asking for this write up :)
Ingredients:
Pre cooking the mushrooms
200g small button mushrooms
1/3 tsp salt
1/4 tsp MSG
1/2 tsp garlic powder
120ml water
1 tbsp veg oil
Batter
The left over liquid from the strained mushrooms
3 tbsp plain flour
5 tbsp potato starch
veg oil for deep frying
Finishing
1/2 chopped onion
1/3 chopped green pepper
1/3 chopped yellow pepper
1/3 sliced carrot
6 finely chopped cloves of garlic
2 chopped spring onions
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/8 tsp 5 spice
2 large chopped chillies
1 tsp chilli flakes
2/3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp MSG
2 tbsp veg oil
